5 for Five

Welcome back to another round of 5 for Five!

Raise your hand if you enjoyed Jenn's vlog last week?  I'm totally raising mine.  This does not mean that I  will be vlogging anytime soon - maybe someday I'll build up the courage, but don't hold your breath.  AnywayJenn and I are SO glad you are here to linkup with us!

If you are new to the linkup - this post has some more information on what it's all about!

Last week I had so many after-school appointments and was very  busy.  Blogging kind of took a backseat to everything else, unfortunately.  I still managed to meet some of my goals, but everything blog-related kind of went out the window.  Hopefully next week will not be as crazy!

Here is how I did last week - green means goal accomplished, red means goal NOT accomplished.

1. Take a multi-vitamin every day.  I did it again!  It is slowly becoming something that I just do in the morning - like brushing my teeth and putting on deodorant.  I hardly ever  forget to do those things!

2. Make overnight oats.  I did this last night - I made two days' worth of breakfasts to bring with me to school.  It was so easy - the hardest part was washing the mason jars before I put the stuff in them.

3. Comment on at least ten blog posts this week.  I don't think I made it to 10.  I barely even had time to post to my own blog last week - I ended up being super busy.

4. Post at least one holiday recap this week.  Like I just said, I was a pretty bad blogger last week and hardly posted at all, so this didn't get done.

5. Workout at least three times this week.  I did do this!  Two workouts at home and one at the gym.  The gym workout wasn't a spin class like I'd planned (I vented about that here), but I still made it to three, which was the goal.  It was such a busy week that I'm pretty happy about that, even though three workouts is technically not a great number.  But it's better than zero.

So, three out of five... not awesome, but not terrible either.  Moving on to goals for this week... I don't have any after-school appointments scheduled, so I'm hoping that I do better!!

1. Take a multi-vitamin every day.  Three weeks and it's officially a habit.  Bring it on, week three.

2. Comment on at least 10 blog posts.  And it doesn't count if I scramble and leave all 10 comments on Sunday just to say that I did it.  Plus, y'all are my friends - I need to be better at keeping up with you as well as keeping up with myself.  And your stories tend to be better than mine anyway.

3. Post at least one holiday recap this week.  I am going to try to post every day.  I have a lot of stuff to say right now and not much time to say it - so I have build up a good backlog of posts drafted in blogger and  in my brain.  Plus it is now March, so it's about time I tell you what I did for Christmas.

4. Spend only an hour on the computer each night for non-work stuff.  This is definitely going to make goals #2 and #3 harder to achieve, but I think I can still do it.  Andrew just got home, so I want to have more time to spend with him, instead of in front of the computer.

5. Take clothes to the dry cleaner.  I have had a bag of clothes that need to be taken to the cleaners in the trunk of my car for weeks.  This weekend, Andrew and I went to a nice dinner with some friends, and both of my nice cold weather dresses were in that bag, so I had to throw together an outfit that I wasn't crazy about.  If I had dropped off that bag when I first planned to, this wouldn't have been an issue.

I hope you all have super productive weeks this week!!  I'm excited to see your  five goals!

You are doing great with taking the multi-vitamin. It's amazing how quickly and easily it can become a habit. :)

I do the same thing as you with the dry cleaners clothes, except with everything. I'll put something aside to do something with, then just completely neglect it for days. Like right now, I have a load of clothes that's been in the washing machine for two days that I've been meaning to move to the dryer. Now I'm going to have to rewash them so that they don't smell like mildew. Good luck with your goals this week! :)

The dry cleaners I can usually tackle, but I have a bag sitting in my closet that needs to be dropped off at Goodwill. WHY I havent done it, I dont know ... I'm not attached to anything in it, thats for sure! Good job with goals last week -- and enjoy having your husband home!

How did you do the overnight oats? That sounds like a great way for me to get some breakfast in too!
