Sunday Social - Welcome 2013!

I'm linking up with Neely and Ashley for the final Sunday Social of 2012!  Fittingly, today's theme is New Years!

Sunday Social

1. What is the best New Years Eve you've ever had?
New Year's Eve 2005 (where it became 2006).  One of my high school friends had a big party at his house, and pretty much all of my high school friends were home from college and were there.  It was just a really fun night.

2. Are you doing anything for NYE this year and if so what?
Andrew and I haven't decided yet when we will be heading back home, but it will be either tomorrow or New Year's Day, since I have to be back at work on Wednesday.  So we might be at home, or we might still be at his parents' house.  Either way, we are anticipating a mellow night in because we will either have just completed a long day of driving or will be gearing up for one the next day.  No matter where we are, we will be eating Chinese food for dinner - it's his family's New Year's Eve tradition!

3. Name a book we should all read come January?
I would highly recommend the Song of Ice and Fire  series to anyone who enjoys Game of Thrones.  The books are long, but they are worth it!

I would also recommend The Help.  It is such a great book!

4. What are your new years resolutions?
Come back tomorrow for Jenn's and my special NYE edition of 5 for Five to find out!!

Chinese sounds like a fun tradition! I'll be working this year so it'll be a different kind of NYE for me!

Chinese is a great NYE tradition! I'd love to start that since our NYE will be fairly low key this year. And awesome book suggestions. Love the Game of Thrones book series!
